Mission and Vision

We are focused on two major areas of work to provide universal Internet access for all residents:

  • short-term emergency solutions

  • long-term infrastructure development.

Our Vision

Every resident in California and across the nation will have Internet access to connect to the online resources they need to live and thrive, including virtual medicine, jobs, unemployment benefits, food and housing assistance, and distance learning.

Our Mission

To work as a diverse coalition to advance digital equity through long-term infrastructure development and to meet immediate needs through short-term solutions.

Short-Term and Long-Term Goals

Short-term Emergency Solutions

There is an urgent need to get our most vulnerable community members online. We can help them by providing:

1) hotspots or connectivity devices;

2) laptops or Chromebooks

3) funding for data plans

Long-term Infrastructure

In partnership with government entities, we can address digital equity by supporting permanent broadband infrastructure for our low-income residents.
