We’ve made progress, but we still need your help!
The Digital Equity Coalition (DEC) organizes elected officials, community organizations, educators, and community members to help advocate towards ending the digital divide in California. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbates the digital divide, impacting access to healthcare, economic activity, and education. Although there is much work, organizing, and advocacy ahead of us, we are already securing resources for our community! We hope you will join us as we continue advocating for high-speed Internet for EVERYONE in California.
Here’s what we have already accomplished together!
City of San Jose approves over $1.5 million for devices to address the digital divide
City of San Jose approves over $1.5 million on long-term infrastructure addressing the digital divide
Santa Clara County approves $7.1 million to bridge digital divide for 15,000 families.
